Steffan’s still struggling with regulating his CSF so the doctors are moving up his bone flap replacement surgery to tomorrow. They said it should help with the CSF levels, and it’s a relatively quick/easy surgery - takes 1-2 hrs.

In the meantime, we got an “upgrade” to floor 11 - the Neuro ICU - so he can be more carefully monitored since his CSF levels are so sensitive to position and hydration.  His bed has been flat since last night and he’s more alert and responsive than he was yesterday so we’re already seeing an improvement.  We got a couple snaps and thumbs up this morning.

And Brandon has FINALLY let him watch TV, so he’s chilling right now watching a little Parks & Rec (nothing good was on Bravo).
